But for our customers that are interested, and qualify (see below) we have a new brand you can attach to the jewelry you sell from us. FEATURES AND BENEFITS OF USING SILVER PEACE BRAND

• We will provide, for a nominal fee, beautiful, professionally designed marketing materials including earring cards, display presentation materials, informational table tents and handouts.
  
  
• You have the option to donate a % of your gross sales to a Silver Peace charity. This % must be displayed to all customers when you sell the jewelry. Wholesalegemshop.com will MATCH your contribution (see terms below) to the charity. Your donation can be 1% or 50%. Its up to you, and we will match up to 50% of our sale price to you!
  
  
• We will provide a links to sources for display materials and show you how to set up a beautiful presentation at your home party, craft show, etc.
• We will help you effectively communicate to your customers where the jewelry is from, how it is made and the story behind it!

• You must have purchased at least $200 in inventory from us within the past year to qualify to use the Silver Peace materials, or make an initial purchase of $200.
  
  
• Silver Peace™ materials may ONLY be displayed on jewelry purchased from Wholesalegemshop.com, and only according to these terms. To do otherwise is a trademark violation and may have legal consequences.
  
  
• You are not required to make a charitable donation in order to use the Silver Peace™ materials. However, you may not use the materials in a fraudulent manner. For example, it is not acceptable to use our table tents to advertise a % donation to charity if a donation will not be made.
  
  
• Wholesalegemshop.com will match donations to our list of approved charitable organizations or programs up to 50% of purchase price you paid us for the jewelry. For example, if you place an order for $500, then you have a jewelry party where you advertise 50% of sales go to charity and your gross sales = $1000. You will make a donation of $500 to a charity on our list and I will match $250 of your donation. Another time, say you advertise 10% to charity and your gross sales = $300. You donate $30 and we match $30.
  
  
• We will EVEN match donations to charities in your local community up to 20% of sale price of our jewelry. Another example: You host a jewelry party to benefit the local homeless shelter and advertise 50% of your gross sales go to the shelter. You buy $500 from us for your event and sales= $1000. You donate $500 to the charity (Let's say the jewelry cost you $400) and we match your donation by donating $80 (20% * $400)!
  
  
• Donation matches by Wholesalegemshop.com to local charitable organizations NOT on our approved list will be sent directly to the organization. The organization must be a registerd 501(C)3 tax-exempt organization and must be pre-approved by Aaron. We retain the right to refuse to match contributions to any organization for any reason. This is kind of a gray area, but this should clear things up for most of you: Animal shelters, homeless shelters, your daughter's school's PTO, local food bank, local Boy's and Girls Club... all great! But groups like the NRA, NARAL, UNICEF, the Boy Scouts, The Sierra Club, etc., not so cool for this project. I do of course have my own politcal beliefs, but that is not what this is about. For local charities it must be non-political, local (no national or regional groups) and pretty much a no-brainer. The idea behind this is I want to help folks help groups in their own neighborhoods make a difference in ways that we can all witness.
  
  
• All donations must be sent to us by check form (credit cards for matches will be possible soon) made out to "Silver Peace - Charitable Commission". And in the comment field indicate the organization/ program you want the money to go to.
  
  
• We will forward the funds to the appropriate program/ organization and keep track of all appropriate paperwork on our end. Since your matching donation will be funneled through Wholesalegemshop.com, and we are not a 501(c)3, your donation is not tax deductable. But technically your donation will be considered a commission for tax purposes and therefore you should be able to treat it as a business expense (assuming you also are counting all the revenue from the sale as income); this according to my accountant in Rhode Island. But it is always a good idea to verify with your own tax accountant or attorney.
